Michael Kendrick & The Blue Eyed Sons are a quickly-growing four piece band out of the Midwest. Splitting time between St. Louis and Columbia, the four have made substantial sacrifices to get the band up and running and it finally is. Michael Kendrick, Matt Zufall, John Dalton, and Joe Ellison combine elements from many types of American music and have developed a sturdy batch of songs that aim to intrigue audiences both lyrically and melodically. The band offers a blend of driving toe tappers, harmonized folk tunes, and old time rock n roll. Influenced heavily by the likes of Bob Dylan, Josh Ritter, and Ryan Adams, the group takes a great deal of pride in their songs. And with a promising upcoming schedule, opening for some of the best bands in the Midwest, Michael Kendrick and the Blue Eyed Sons hope good things are to come.
