Born in June of 2006, the Child consisted of vocalist Aryn Schwartz, guitarist Asa Savage, and bassist Shaun Avants. The three went on to add Jeremy Cruz of previous Austin fame in early 2007, to lay down the rhythm with his creative and powerful drum skills. Even in their earliest appearances, the lineup has pummeled their audiences with sonic fury in the vein of The Cult, the beauty and soul of Led Zeppelin III, coupled with the raw power of The Stooges and The MC5.
